*meanwhile in the Abbey*
"Sister Fuincly, do you know what those dibbuns are up to?" asked the Friar as he scratched his head in wonderment. "I saw them down at the pond today having honest fun, really, I don't know why you wonder such silly things all the time" replied the Vole sister
instantly the doors swung open an one whole score of dibbuns charged in and at the same time yelling and screaming
"I got in first!"
"no I did!
"I was in first and you know It!"
"quiet everyone!" yelled The Abbot
the dibbuns, ashamedly took their seats, the Abbot said a quick blessing then the dibbuns started digging into their food like there was no tomorrow, with a glare from the Abbot and some of the Elders they slowed down.

the cheeky badger went from dibbun to dibbun "pssst! meet out by da pond!" he said to each, soon there was a crowed of dibbuns slipping under the table without being noticed, a skill all dibbuns learn.

"now dat we's all gots a w'od w'ets get in!" the all charged into the water as fast as they could soon all that could be seen was around 35 rods comeing out of the pond...

the Friar and Brother Dunk looked at eachother with looks of surprise "they're in the pond!!!" yelled the Friar. they ran as fast as they could yelling the whole way "the dibbuns are in the pond!
soon the entire Abbey was roused by the noise

at this remark the other dibbun started bursting out crying like half the other dibbuns "I'm gonna tell fa'der h'abbot on you!" and with that he ran to the Abbey

the tiny Badger wiped a tear from his eye before he anounced his anouncement "Dibbuns of da DAB as you can d'ee we are not w'eady to 'ave a w'evolution against bedtime!" a couple of the dibbuns sat up and looked at there muddy clothing before nodding in agreement "we need to escape w'edwall before da h'abbot finds out what we's done! Where's Blingo?" he asked a small hedghog poped his head up "he's gonna get da f'ader h'abbot to chapa my tail off!" he cried. at this remark the dibbuns went into another fit of chaos. The Badger dibbun tried to silence them but then he saw it! the door to the abbey swung open and a little dibbun with his arms crossed and the Abbot and some other Redwallers were there "tor'waitor!" said the Badger under his breath. when the other dibbuns noticed the Abbot take a step forward they all gasped in despair finally a dibbun sarted chanting "DAB DAB DAB!" soon all the dibbuns took up the chant. then cought in the moment another dibbun yelled "scatter!" but before they could run another dibbun yelled "to da main gate!" they all retreated to the gate and made a human tower to the lock. when the Father Abbot saw this he and all the Redwallers went alot quicker!  |

and called out again." Come on day'a comeins!" She looked down at the hedgehog." Me got it!" They swung the door wide open to see the deep woods of mossflower."Run!" One of the dibuns yelled.
